As you interact with Adventist Sermons, we collect non-sensitive usage data to personalize your experience:

  • Saved favorite sermons and followed pastors
  • Public comments posted under sermon recordings
  • Playback history, audio/video playback state, and duration metrics

C. Technical & Device Information

We automatically collect technical data when you access the Application, including internet protocol (IP) address, device model, operating system version, browser type, preferred theme settings (light/dark mode), and crash log telemetry.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for specific, legitimate purposes including:

  • Providing, operating, and maintaining the Adventist Sermons audio/video streaming experience.
  • Managing user authentication, password resets, and account security.
  • Enabling listeners to follow favorite speakers, save audio/video items, and participate in community discussions.
  • Verifying pastoral credentials and regulating ministry content submissions.
  • Improving app performance, monitoring bug reports, and enhancing security.

  • YouTube / Video Providers: Sermons embedded in our application may utilize YouTube embedded players. Playing these videos connects directly to YouTube services subject to Google Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting Infrastructure (Vercel / Cloud Providers): For website hosting, CDN content delivery, and application maintenance.

5. Data Security & Protection

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your personal data. All network communication between the Application and server endpoints is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS HTTPS). Access to sensitive database records is protected by strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion Instructions

In accordance with Google Play Store policies, users have the right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account & data:

  1. Visit our public Account & Data Deletion Page to submit an instant or web request.
  2. Log in to your account inside the app and go to Profile Dashboard → Danger Zone → Request Account Deletion.
  3. Or send an email request to aricha.adventistsarmons@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Upon account deletion request, all your personal profile details, saved favorites, follows, and posted comments will be permanently erased from our active database within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Application does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under 13, please contact us immediately using the details provided below, and we will take steps to promptly remove such data.
